My name is April Bauman, and I’ve had the incredible joy of homeschooling our three children for the past nine years, and our family has been blessed to be part of the GCA community for the last six. Professionally, I’m a part owner and Vice President of a national energy savings company, where I’ve spent more than 25 years in finance, human resources, administration, and business operations. I love using those experiences to serve others, solve problems, and help create systems that allow our teachers and staff to focus on what matters most—investing in our students.
At GCA, you’ll usually find me working behind the scenes on ThinkWave, student records, communications, marketing, social media, graphic design, school events, and whatever else needs a helping hand! I love taking an idea and bringing it to life. Whether it’s planning a fun activity, designing graphics, organizing an event, or finding creative ways to connect our families, I’m happiest when I’m creating something that serves others and helps strengthen our community.
Outside of GCA, I enjoy serving as a day-of wedding coordinator alongside my sister and best friend, cheering on my kids in all of their passions, and spending as much time with my family as possible. Above all, I love the Lord and am grateful for every opportunity He gives me to serve our community. My prayer is that everything I do points back to Him and brings Him glory.
