Each season, the GCA Theater Arts program comes alive through the hard work and creativity of our students. These shows are more than just performances — they are opportunities to grow, build confidence, work together, and share meaningful stories with our community.

Spring 2026

Aladdin Jr.

Students transported audiences to the vibrant city of Agrabah in this exciting production filled with music, adventure, and unforgettable characters. As Aladdin discovered that true worth comes from character rather than status, audiences were reminded of the importance of honesty, courage, and staying true to who God created us to be. Through colorful performances, energetic choreography, and plenty of laughter, our students brought this beloved story to life while sharing timeless lessons about identity and integrity.

Christmas 2025

Our Empty Lot

Presented in collaboration with Hessel Church, Our Empty Lot shared an original Christmas story that wove together faith, friendship, baseball, gingerbread, and community. Through laughter, neighborhood adventures, and meaningful relationships, students explored the realities of loss, grief, and the challenges that one family faced. At its heart, the story pointed audiences to the hope found in Christ and the redemption available through God's grace. Centered on the true meaning of Christmas and the message of the Gospel, this unique production reminded us that even in seasons of sorrow, God is faithful, His love is constant, and His greatest gift is the hope we find in Him.

Spring 2025

Mary Poppins Jr.

With beloved songs, colorful characters, and a touch of magic, Mary Poppins Jr. delighted audiences of all ages. As the Banks family learned the importance of love, connection, and spending time together, students brought warmth and joy to the stage. This production reminded us that even in the midst of life's challenges, God often works through ordinary moments, family relationships, and acts of kindness to bring encouragement and hope.

Peter Pan Jr.

Students invited audiences on an unforgettable journey to Neverland, where pirates, fairies, Lost Boys, and adventure awaited around every corner. Filled with energy, humor, and imagination, this production celebrated the joy of childhood while exploring themes of courage, friendship, and belonging. Through music, storytelling, and teamwork, students learned to dream big while embracing the gifts and responsibilities God has given them.

Christmas 2023

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Our theater program began with a partnership with Hessel Church. This beloved Christmas classic, telling the story of the Herdman children and their unexpected role in the church Christmas pageant. Through plenty of laughter, memorable moments, and heartfelt performances, students shared a powerful reminder that God's love and grace are for everyone. A heartfelt and humorous holiday show celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, created in partnership with Hessel Church to share the Gospel with our community.
